Well Just as the title says I have to have Arthoscopic Knee surgery on Monday morning at 9:30 am. I have a Torn PCL, Torn Medial Meniscus, and Torn Lateral Meniscus!!!

Well ok Sunday November 2nd I got ordained an Elder by my Granddad. But before that at Stake Conference I sat Next to Brother Marshall our new assisstant stake music director. He invited me to sing in "The Messiah" (this was very odd to me because i have never sung with a choir or even learned how to read notes ut he told me I had a fine voice) so I said I would be there. And yesterday was our first practice and I was kinda scared going into it because i didn't know if i could learn the stuff that fast.. well i caught on really really fast and am learning how to use my voice. I didn't know what musical part I was so He took me to the piano and found out I am a Tenor and he said " you know in the movies the Tenor always gets the girls" hahahahaha but anyways I love singing!!!

Lizard Man

Well great news!!! I went to see Doctor Rhorer today and he said that my leg is perfectly healed now and he watched me walk and was so impressed. He then likened me to a lizard, you know when a lizard loses its tail it grows back. So I told my PT's and they Christened me Lizard Man hahha but I don't have to see the doc till April 1st. I'm really working hard so I can go on my mission in May or June. :)

Well it has been a long time since I have posted anything new but I have decided I will start posting again. Well since the last time I post I have started driving again, It was pretty scary the first time but now it seems just natural again! I do have my dog back living with me, she can be a pain sometimes (especially when it comes to her chewing on things) I have talked with my bishop and he feels I am ready to be ordained an Elder and I do have an interview with my stake president tomorrow at 9:15pm haha. Another new update is on Friday this past week was one of my most favorite PT's of all time, Russ' last day so I pushed myself a little more and I sprinted for the first time since the accident. Then I was asked to speak at a Priest Laurel retreat so I met up with Jake Nelson and Bro Alvey and we drove up to Pine on Friday night had a fun speed dating activity and then basically just met a lot of new people afterwards. Then I went to bed and it was me and Jake in one bunk and the bunk higher than ours had four guys on it and we thought it was going to collapse! haha it was awesome, then the next day I woke up at 5 and went into the woods and read my favorite chapters in the Book of Mormon and was able to bring the spirit Then we had these very wonderful breakfast burritos... then we had our first 2 classes which were College prep and Mission Prep and then we had a short break then It was time for our lesson which was the spiritual class. I wrote a talk especially for it and I made a parable using gardening and then I told the story of my accident and how I know I would be here if I hadn't been living worthily to have the Holy Ghost with me. It was an incredible class both times we taught it and there was such a strong spirit there. then we had lunch and then hiked up the hill and had a devotional. It was awesome and I bore my testimony. This trip was amazing as my last priest activity I got to know Jake better and found out we have so much in common. I just checked Laura's blog and she took pictures from her cruise and there was one picture that stood out to me.. It was the birds of paradise (flowers), it stuck out to me because she knows they are some of my most favorite flowers and she took the time to take a pretty picture of them :)

Well It has been a long time since I have written on here. Since that time I have started going to institute... I Love it. I have also started walking... its is a little more and more each day. Yesterday Laura came and got Calli from my dads house and I was here I got to talk to her a little bit and she gave me a little hug it was a great day.

Well I had PT two days in a row Tuesday and Wednesday, I am feeling the effects of it now! It is so awesome though, I love walking and getting stronger! I love walking on the treadmill. It is so amazing at how fast I am healing, I love it! So yeah my Dog Calli dug underneath my moms fence and so I had my dad come pick her up and take her to his house and she got out again today!! It is ridiculous I feel so bad for her because she has not been played with for 3 months because of my accident. I feel so bad and I do NOT want to get rid of her she is my little buddy! I just need to get back to walking so I can take her on walks and get her energy out because she is just really bored. I love her too much to get rid of her.

I love my ward!! Everyone is soo awesome and there is this guy, his name is branden and has downs syndrome and he just wanted to push me in my wheel chair everywhere I needed to go yesterday!! He is so awesome he calls me his Homie haha. But yesterday I walked with my walker a lot and also took a few steps without the walker... But I am doing so great!! So I figured that like 3 people read my blog I thank everyone for reading my nonsense stuff that I write sometimes but I love all of you!!

Physical Therapy!!!!

Well I know I post things on here like every other day.. But today was my first day of physical therapy being able to put pressure on my left leg. I pushed myself so hard and Jim wants me to walk on the treadmill on Friday!!! I'm so exhausted now but it is worth it I am so far ahead of schedule and I hope people are reading these posts... (feedback would be nice) haha but I am still able to study my scriptures I love them and Love the Lord with all my heart! Without Him I would not be as far as I am!!! It is so amazing! I have had about ten minutes of sleep today and I'm exhausted I really need a nap today!!! It's ok because I'm watching the Olympics now and I LOVE the Olympics!!!

Well the best news has come 8 weeks after my accident. I went to Doctor Rhorer the surgeon who fixed my leg and hip. I went there hoping for good news, so nervous. He told me that my leg and hip look perfectly healed and I can start putting pressure on my left leg now. He told me he wants me walking within a month!! I'm soooo excited it is so amazing how the Lord has healed me so fast! I give all credit to Him for healing me and giving me my determination and hardwork to get where I'm at. I love the Lord and can't wait until I will devote my whole life completely to Him to serve Him and Bring people unto Him. I know the church is true with all my heart!!! I love everyone of you and thank you all for yours prayers and know that has helped me!!!

Well today all I have done is watch the Olympics hahah allll day! Then played with Bentley I love playing with her!! But my mom brought the idea of spending the night at my dad's house on saturday nights so he won't have to drive all the way out to Mesa and back. So I'm here and I took a bath, I love my dad's tub, and I got out and looked at my big toe on my left foot and I have this wierd red bump on it it looks like raw meat... hopefully it will be ok... I will ask the Doctor on monday.. I'm excited for church tomorrow I can't wait till I go on my mission around June I believe it will be I wish it would be next month I'm getting sick of some things ugh! well I love everyone of you who reads this God be with you!! and have a wonderful Sabbath tomorrow!!!

Well as everyone knows I have been working so hard with Physical Therapy and have set goals for myself... When I first started therapy they measured my knee angles and it started out to range from 14 degrees to 110 degrees then on monday it was 7 degrees to 127 degrees and today i only got measured on how straight I could get it and It got measured at 3 degrees.. so close to being perfect again!!! I go back to the doctor on monday to find out if I csn put pressure on my left leg... But I'm doing so well and my therapist is so proud of my achievements!! I love it i'm so happy but also kinda down... its getting hard to keep thinking positive on some things..... and I want to keep thinking positive on those things but its just getting harder the more away I am... oh well I know that if I keep doing what is right and trust the Lord everything will turn out how it is supposed to be... I love all of you will my whole heart I thank you for your prayers and faith you've shown for me God be with you all!!!

Well last night I went to Mutual at Brother Le Dukes house and that was so awesome! We had a BBQ and swimming. We also watched the DBacks game. I had a hamburger with a handful of BBQ chips haha it was awesome and then I got into the pool and I Stood with putting pressure on my left leg and I walked!!!! it was sooooo incredible that I Walked even though it was in the pool!! It made me so happy I loved it I was walking around in the pool for like an hour!!! I loved it I hope I can do it more! Then I went to Physical Therapy today it was 2 hours long like usual and it was so awesome we did so much and Jim my physical therapist says that I'm porogressing so far so fast and doing soo good and that he is so proud of me and he loves my determination!! I love physical therapy then he gave me some exercises to do for my core at home!! I go to the doctor on August 11th I hope he says I can put pressure on my left leg!!! I love it I'm so happy!!! I love the Lord I know without Him this wouldn't be possible I love you all and have a great day!!!!

Well I found out today that my ward was being split and everyone that lived East of Gilbert rd is now in the new Cooper 2nd ward and everyone west (includes me) Is still in the McQueen 3rd ward! we get a whole new bishopric because all of the old one live east of Gilbert road So I met the new bishop tonight He is pretty cool. I'm excited but I'm going to miss my Bishop sooo much!!! But the stupid Landlord isn't paying the Mortgage so the house will get foreclosed on eventually so me and my dad were thinking about finding a house east of Gilbert rd haha. I met my Stake President for the first time since I've been in the Stake and he is incredible he was so awesome I love President Jones!!! but things are great and I love my ward! I love you all God be with you.

Yeah today was obviously pretty boring for me... so I woke up and started working on a puzzle while watching daddy day care... and Olivia and Eric came over and it was the first time Olivia came to see me and we talked for a long time and then they left after Olivia hugged me haha... then I kept working on my puzzle and then I played scrabble with my mom and Ashton... that game really sucks!!! maybe it would be more fun with not ashton and if i knew how to play right hahah.then dad and bryce came over and chilled for a bit then my granddad came over and I talked to Him for a while and then i watched the Diamondbacks get beat then took a very relaxing bath. have to wake up early to wake my father up so he can come pick me up. But I really don't want to go on ANY dates before my mission cause it felt weird to not be with Laura. So yeah I wish I could leave on my mission already!! haha I'm healing sooooo great and I scare my mom by getting up out of my wheel chair and standing on my right foot balancing with my left and making it look like I'm standing it is fun!! but yeah I won't let anyone turn just chilling into a date again that made me soooooo mad cause I told that stupid girl that I wanted to only Double date if anything...
So yeah kinda hoping that Laura's Parents don't hook her up with an amazing guy... cause yeah that would make me sad oh well I have to stay positive and trust in the Lord always!!! I love everyone who reads this have a great night!!

Ok well Today started out great with physical therapy which was two hours long and I pushed myself to the limit on every exercise!! Well then I got home and Kenna the girl from wednesday texted me asking what I was doing tonight and I said nothing so she asked if I wanted to hang out so I said sure and at first she just wanted to come to my moms and hang out and I was ok with that then she told me her mom wasn't comfortable with that so we went to the movies instead and it was like a date and just kinda felt awkward.. I didn't ever wanna go on single dates till after my mission with the girl I intend to marry... so yeah it was awkward I thought we'd just chill and watch movies and play video games... so yeah NO MORE single dates at all no matter what No excuses I won't let them happen... but we saw The Dark Knight again it was awesome again! I love that movie but I had a good day overall :) I love you all, May God Be with You!!

Armor of God

Well Wednesday night (yesterday night) I went to Mutual it was a tri stake priest Laurel combined activity and I got there late but it was at this awesome castle in chandler kinda near chandler mall. when i got there they were finishing dressing up someone in foil and boxes and tape to make it look like armor and then they picked a winner... it wasn't my group oh well i didn't do anything on it hahah then some people came up to me asking how I got hurt and I told them and I saw some of my friends from my ward and Then a guy from the U.S. Air Force spoke to us and told us about a time he had to do a rescue mission in Afghanistan and it was so interesting then he tied it together with his body armor and we need to stay worthy and it makes me want to stay worthy always and always have the full Armor of God on and to do my best and to prepare for my mission... I do miss MY Laura a lot but I know its for the best and I know us not being together will make my mission so much better and I don't want to even chance going on my mission I can't wait till I can hang out with her again though! Oh and at the Priest Laurel thing I met a girl who was really cool and will probably take on a double date when I'm able to walk. so I made some new friends and always wanting to keep the FULL Armor of God on!! I know He will protect me from anything that Satan tries to throw at me and I'll be ready to defend it. I can't wait for my mission but I also need to get out of the house too to keep my sanity so I think a double will be pretty fun when I'm able to walk but its only for FUN haha I can't wait to be able to hang out with Laura again... Shouldn't be too long so it will be ok and I have faith that she will be able to trust the Lord and things will end up how they are supposed to! I love you all and I love the Lord with all my heart and soul!!! Have a great night!!

I love Physical Therapy so much my physical therapist is awesome!!! I was able to do so many thing so much better than before more efficiently and sooo much better. My legs are getting stronger and I can now flex both of my calfs and that made me soooo happy when I figured that out!!I can't wait till Friday for my next Appointment. I'm getting my haircut today finally!!! I'm so excited I can look like a missionary FINALLY!!! I love it!! I love you all have a wonderful day!!

Walking

Ok I know I just posted one but I just wanted everyone to know I want to be walking within a couple months and will work as hard as I need to to reach that goal. I hope all of you stand behind me to help me out with this. I know it will be tough and full of pain but I know I will be able to with the help of the Lord!!! I just need to Trust in Him always... In everything; relationships, family issues, me healing, and just life in general it is a big step for my healing process but I will reach it hopefully as soon as I can!!

Church

Well Yesterday I got to go to my own ward and it was nice it is a totally different feeling than my moms ward this ward feels like "mine" and it made me so happy to be there and see lots of my friends and all my leaders and teachers!! I love my ward and am going to go every week, dad is going to come and pick me up and take me and i'll also go to my moms ward too... she asked if I wanted to go to singles ward... that was a good question... I kinda want to go but then I just said no. But at my ward I had the YSA leaders come to me and have me give them my email address and they told me about an activity that sounded fun so i'll probably go to that. Then on wednesday I have mutual it is a tristake priest laurel activity and sounds pretty fun so I'll go to that... anything to get me out of the house ah I go crazy sometimes... I can't wait till I can just go on my mission and serve the Lord thats my main goal and focus I just wanna go right now!!! Oh I went by the scene of the accident after church yesterday too... it was crazy you can see two skid marks on the sidewalk and that is it. They replaced the light Pole there. I kinda want to start going on dates but only like 1 a month... but I think I'll wait till I can walk... just something to do till I go on my mission... Hope to hear from people who read this and give me some input on that haha ;) Well have a great night everyone I love all of you.

YAY!!!!! Tonight was another accomplishment for me!!!! I got down into the bath tub and took a bath!!!!! Things are going so good for me! I love doing new things now it is amazing!!!! I'm going to my Ward at 8 AM tomorrow!!! I'm so excited I thank the Lord soooo much for all he has done for me and helped me with!!!

Therapy

Yesterday I had physical therapy... I love it!!! They make me work I push myself as far as I can. But because of that I've been absolutely exhausted the past 2 days!!! But I am so excited for tomorrow because I'm going to my ward for the first time since the accident. and I'mgoing to my moms ward I think... But I love the Lord and Love the Church and Know it is true with all my heart... I hope to be able to walk eventually soon... Its so hard not being able to. I started a puzzle this week and also started painting with oil paints and canvas sheets... one painting haha it started out really good looking but ended up horrible...Well I love all of you will my whole heart!!

The Dark Knight

I just saw the most incredible movie that I have seen in a long time! Heath Ledgers performance was definitely the best of his career... It was so awesome and made me happy that I could sit in the movie theater and watch the movie with no problems. My spirits are so high! Things are going great! Today should be great hopefully! Well I love Heavenly Father so much and He has helped me so much especially as of late! We just all need to trust in Him and push through our trials and never forget Him even when things are great! I love you all and just Trust in the Lord!

A ROLL AND A SHOWER

Tonight has been so much better than today was... I went on a roll and I went my fastest my whole time in my wheelchair with no help! then I came home and was able to Hop into the shower with my walker and sat down on the shower bench and took my first running water shower since June 15th! I know the Lord is helping me my spirits are so high right now! I am going to do this every night. It felt so good, I didn't even want to get out but my feet were soaking in the tub and the tub was filling pretty quickly but it was simply amazing is all I can say about it!

Well today started out sucking me puking my guts out literally i had nothing in my stomach to throw up but I still was... Then I was able to eat that was nice... I then had therapy and that was good cause now I can use the shower!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! Running water!!!! But I still Miss Laura It is Hard without her right now but I KNOW that this is how everything is supposed to be right now... The Lord Knows Best and I love Him So much!!! But I want to see The Dark Knight Everyone says it is such an amazing movie I want to see it sooooooooooo bad!!!!!!!! I love you All... I'll keep everyone updated on here on how my days are going and how I'm healing... Thanks for reading!!!

At Home

Yes, I'm at home just like every other day. But today has been a happier more joy filled day for some reason. I talked to a few people online and the reassured me I am going to be fine and they love me. That was great! I really hate my boots that I have to wear to keep my feet at 90 degrees they are so uncomfortable and cause more pain than without. I am missing Laura so much right now but I will be ok because I love the Lord and have Him on my side I know that if I trust in Him always I will not fail! He has big plans for me and He reminds me every other night.
